November 12 2007 STEVENS I am doing genealogy and need some info.  I am searching for info on a Floyd Stevens who was married to a Letha Muriel Lillibridge, I was once married to Floyd's son, Larry and we had two children.  Floyd and Letha were married in Hailey 10-13-1938.I am looking for any relatives still living that can give me info on the Stevens family.  I would like to be able to continue this pursuit but need some help.    I'm not sure if Floyd is still living or not, but would like to know if he has any survivors, where he might be buried and if he remarried etc.  To my recolection I believe he is also of Cherokee decent, although this might be incorrect.

Thank you - Christie Miller

I am a native of Blaine County, being born in Carey in 1935. I lived in Hailey until I was about 10 years old, when the family moved to western Montana, around Hamilton. This would be about 1946. I still have vivid memories of the area. I still have several relatives that live around Carey, Hailey and Bellevue.
In my research I have found that I am related to almost everyone that has claim to being a native of Idaho. My family came to the area about the turn of the century and homesteaded in the Carey area. My mother, and her siblings were all born in Carey. My father was born in Picabo in1904.
My database from the PARK line back holds some 9000 names and goes back 33 generations. I am more that willing to share with others, and hope to expand on this.
If you are interested in anything I might remember as to Blaine County as I grew up in the 1940's, I will be glad to share. Also, my mother, who just turned 90 has an excellent memory of her childhood and years living there.

I will check my data base or I can check with my aunt and uncle that still live there. They were born in 1910, and was the county commissioner for many years.
